Dexter Chill’s The Night Out

Visitors to the Haven foreshore at Terrigal could be forgiven for thinking they were on holiday in places such as Bali or Thailand. There was a wonderful warm gentle sea breeze blowing in from the south, it was 7.30pm the sun was slowly sinking and people were still enjoying a late ocean dip, and a mellow tune was drifting in the air.

In front of the Reef, our local artist Dexter Morph strung a tune as people upstairs and down enjoyed a relaxed meal and some laid back music. Dexter’s unique versatile style has a way of putting people at ease and helping them kick back and relax. Some times local Paul Clitheroe from channels 9’s money program was one of the many customers who enjoyed the mixture of relaxed tunes and great food and service offered by the Reef and Cove.

Dexter plays every Friday night and weather permitting will play outside on Terrigal Haven foreshore, so even if your not trying some of the great meals the Reef or Cove have to offer, grab a blanket and sit on the beach or grass and enjoy the sounds of Dexter. A great way to start the weekend.
