Visitors to the Haven foreshore at Terrigal could be forgiven for thinking they were on holiday in places such as Bali or Thailand. There was a wonderful warm gentle sea breeze blowing in from the south, it was 7.30pm the sun was slowly sinking and people were still enjoying a late ocean dip, and a mellow tune was drifting in the air.

Our Head Chef Mr Nathan Emerson prepares the weekend’s specials ready for the Australia Day Long Weekend.
“We are lucky that we get such a great selection of fresh ingredients when we visit the Sydney markets and we have great relationships with our suppliers they are constantly looking out for new ingredients for us”. “The other day we picked up a tray of white figs which was used in a great special and today we have picked up some wonderfully fresh pink Snapper fillets”
Pan fried pink snapper fillets with angel hair pasta, asparagus,
peas, tomato concasse and a shellfish bisque.

Cuisine Now Gala Dinner
This Sunday saw the who’s who of Sydney’s foodie culture attend the gala dinner at Doltone House, Darling Island wharf. This was the brainchild of Mr Tony Bilson of “Bilsons” at the Radisson, who put together a stunning selection of world class chefs to dazzle the 400 guests who attended the evening.
