Mad Hatter’s Party Just Got Bigger
On Saturday June 12th at noon, the Reef will hosting it’s 2nd Mad Hatters Tea Party. Several local businesses have banded together to host this fun afternoon. The room will be decorated by “WTR The Event Decorators”, and Julie from “The Sweetest Things” will be giving cake decorating classes and advice. We are now pleased to announce that Mellissa Carter Dempster from “Melli make up artist to the stars” will be attending offering complimentary touch ups and mini make overs. And if the glass of bubberly you receive on arrival is not enough to make you relax, Sara from “Vital Body Works” will be on hand to offer soothing mini massage during the course of the day to ensure you enjoy the day.
Our chef’s will be creating a selection of tempting savories and sweets to be offered with a range of T2 teas. With prizes and giveaways the day is sure to be sell out event so book now to avoid dissapointment.

Fresh Lobsters Tip The Scales
With the start of the Chinese New Year celebrations, come an increased demand for only the freshest and best seafood available. As the fish markets react to this demand we are now receiving some of the largest lobsters we have seen for some time. Pictured with an impressive 2.4 kilo local lobster is our Sous Chef Benson Sweeney and waitress Beatriz Silva.
“Even with their size these lobsters are some of the sweetest and most tender we have had for a while, real quality.” says Benson. On Friday we had a chef from Sydney’s China town visit our restaurant with his family and they had a lobster prepared 2 ways, half the traditional mornay and the other half the chef’s prepared sashimi style, which really does show off the freshness of these lobsters. Our Chef’s received high praise from the family, who were delighted our kitchen was accommodating to their request.
